Gazprom sees average gas export price at $230-240/thou cum in 2018

MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom expects an average 2018 gas price at U.S. $230-240 per thousand of cubic meters, director of Gazprom Export research department Andrei Zotov said in a conference call on Friday.

“As to the prices… $250-260… is apparently a spot price, forecasts for the third and the fourth quarters. We expect prices for the entire year… within a $230-240 (per thousand of cubic meters) range,” he said.

In June, Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev projected the average export price at over $220 per thousand of cubic meters.
